they say they're 2 aspects to a friend
there's the fundamental bit otherwise known as love
and the other is the uniqueness of the individual.

those whol look primarily for the former are often accused for commodifying a relationship.
to look for that listening ear
or to look for that company
or to look for that mutual understandingness in a friend
connotes you would have love from anyone who could give it.

seemingly
i've found myself guilty of something quite the opposite
that i have become too comfortable with the friends i have been with
that i am unwilling to explore the love offered on new grounds.

every friendship's a different experience
with the same elemental love.

yet
there was something abt that experience
that often ties in with what i percieve to be love.

but now
to put it plainly
i feel
very annoyed.

none's to blame
its understandable
like everything is understandable
but not everyone does things out of those understandable reasons.
with the knowledge that things are often more than what meets the eye
and the evidence present to proove so
all i can do is to stay here waiting
at our birthplace of origin
just watching you
drift further and
further and
further
away
from
us
all.
