Familiarity.

there are times in a guy's life
where you'll find him
alone
in his room
broken.

looking past the stage
beyong the proud reputation he's established for himself
there rests in his soul a longingness for security.

sometimes, out of all this, infatuation occurs
where the love of love becomes more dominant than the actual love of a person's being.
it doesnt really matter who the person is.. so long as you get your ends..

and this is when i'll go to say
that love wasnt supposed to be selfish
but man made it so.

their impetus to give love
is at their vested interest of self.

but that doesnt go to say that that caps it altogether.
only you need a lifetime of an experience to find it.

perhaps it is this
or the knowledge of this
that caused me to vow to never take on the act.
never to apear who i was not.

while these might be bold words
i realise
that i infact have acted more than i wld have without.

indifferent and secure.
i find my complete satisfaction in Him.

wait till morning
when the darkness is gone and over
and man can once again see the light..
yes, i mean you...
