E math paper 1.

the title makes me want to curse and swear.

ugh.

its deppressing.

i cant believe how simple it was

and yet

and yet

i can do this badly.

4 marks, gone.

4 marks is a total of 5%!!!

that's huge, considering paper 1's purpose is to score full marks.

and i dont even know if i might lose more than that, though its unlikely.

4 marks.

4 seems to be a bad number.

4 more years
4 marks lost
today was 4th Nov.

arghh

btw, you dont really suppose i dont know what a vector is right?

lets see,
1st mark - Trapezium. the ruler method will get you 5 and the protractor method, 5.5. and 5.5 is definately more accurate.
2nd mark - x. i forgot to reflex my angle before using the circumference and centre rule. whatever.
3rd mark - mean. somehow i thought the average of 8 and 16 was 10.
4th mark - i found the wrong person's speed. i happily went along drawing the tangent to the curve and got this perfect line. Ali's speed was 190m/min. but nooooo, i was supposed to find bala's, and it was a straight line, so duh the answer is zero. that simple. -screams and pulls hair-

this is O level. oh no. and they say A1 might be as high as 90 this year.

gasp.

90? that means i must get at least 87 for paper 2. 87?!?

its possible, but whats the likely hood of someone who can never get names right to get 87?

87?

ok. ok. ok.

there's still hope.

if A1 is 80 (which it wont) i can still get 77. that sounds alot more soothing. 77.

but the world knows that 77's not enough!

fine fine.

now bush's serving his 2nd term, (i think the only other president who did was reagan, the actor, ronald reagan) like seraph said, i need a good education. and for that, i need an A1 at least for the simplest of all subjects, dont i.

actually, bush might not be all that bad.
he's good for singapore, free trade and all. he has christian morals, which has definately swung many christians over, except the worrying thing is not the economy (i think his method can work, only his term had to sffer from the burst of clinton's economic bubble.) its not the iraq war, cuz to some extent, there were no significant detriments, lest you want to consider the american cost behind it. i think the most worrying thing is his slow, but sure gaining of power. the patriot act was scary anough. now, just midnight, singapore time, he has gained control of both houses (i think) and that's scary. they can do alot of things with owning most seats of both senate and congress.

coupled with the 911's argument about keeping the people in fear, because when in fear, they unite behind their leader, its scary. the way the patriot act was passed was worse. they made changes minutes before the thing had to be voted upon. the democrats flipped through, registering little and voted for the act. ok. the act's not exactly wrong in itself, but it is prerequisite for worse things.

funny thing is that few people abroad actually think he should have won, but america thinks otherwise.

kerry's concesion was most admirable. he conceded was based on the fact that he didnt want to see anymore division among Americans.

i actually belive he meant that. afterall, since the people of ohio made the finishing blow, there was little point dividing the people further.

admirable.

the rise of comservatism is now evident among Americans. and the church does play a big role.

i guess we'll have to recycle some of last year's satires then.

i seem to be rushing through this. since english is over, it matters less.

now, i had better move on to Amath.
