Insofar.

I am grateful for manyathings
just not all.

in case the ppl here are as blogsurfing addicted as the ppl back home
i shall not say too much
except

its great to be in a og with seniors you know
especially when you get to meet one of them on the bus most of the time
its great to have a fun class with 2 known fun teachers
its great to have a fun senior class who really knows how to make us feel very much at ease.
its great to know that the class you're in has ppl you can already clique with
or for certain instances
have cliqued before.
its great to know mass dances that have been part of tradition for God knows how many decades and also serves as an extremely hyped up gelling session (the tunes still ringing in my head)
its great to be able to do a friendship dance and not blush abt it meantime.
its great to know i can wake up at 615 and still be 10 minutes early for school.
its great to be here
really
it is.

whats not so great is a guy who has 70% S personality and throwing him in a sea of 115 unknowns.
what's more
cat high has taught him
who ever sticks his head out
gets his head chopped off
or in otherwords
dont be enthu
dont be extra.
i've got my social handicaps

and this someone thinks that its ironic that a debater lacks confidence
but than again
she also thinks something is going on between me and sally
so that discredits her.

oh well
i know this might sound stupid
but i'm actually looking forward to classes
part because of class
part because of the fact that i do want to prove myself in the subjects i have been given opportunity to chose.
afterall
math was the most no-brainer sub in sec sch
econs will be interesting
lit will be by james ho apparently one of the nicest smartest teachers around
gp's by mrs leow (self-explanitory)
and history's just history.

i guess when they say a place is fun
the main criterion really is dependant on the ppl there
or more importantly
the friends you make.

was talking to gigas and seraph
the thing abt cat high
tho it really was very inactive
and kinda boring
4-1 made it fun.
ppl like joel too.
the debate team, kengwee, clement etc
everyday was like playing a role in some mega hit.
it was the friends we became that made us enjoy the riduculously ruthless re-disciplinary regime we underwent.
of course being brought up in an area would have somewhat programmed me to think that that is what is to be known as fun.
in the case that i had a different alma mater
i might've felt the same
but towards the opposing school.
but what the heck
now that i've been through it all
thinking back
we did have the pleasurs we deserved.
seraph was right
now that i'm gone
i've begun to treasure what i cannot relive.
living for the moment they call it
or maybe its just the human tendancy to enjoy realting abt the past
because the moment is never certain enough.

noetheless
i miss the place.
