Down to Earth.
snow flakes
one of a kind
all pretty and delicate in their own way
appreciative for the moment.
every moment you look at them
is a moment they fall
is a moment taken away from them
is a moment closer to
death.
not death;
just transcribed from one form to another.
not death;
just changing from one state to another.
not death!
just becoming like everybody else
formless
shapeless
with beauty once known
now taken away
forever
for good.
but for the short time span of just drifting in the wind
would it be worth to give up our time till the inevitability of death
to have at least have one glimpse of what it is like
to relfect the sun in every different angle
to be called gifts from the angels
to feel the dashing upon your face
for just one moment?
i'm glad its only one season.
