he shared today about Queen Esther.

he mentioned about how queen esther refused the King's banquet.
just because she was satisfied in being in his presence.
of course she had the intention of gaining iad for her people.
in a way its like God.
one would not complain if he/she knew that everything has its purpose
and that everything we go through is a very relevant tool of discipleship.
yeah, he was complaining how many ushers loathe TM.
and i guess that's where last week's sermon comes into play.
as well as the fact that all we really should want to do is to please the King.
he also brought up this thing about King Saul.
many mistake him to be killed by his armour bearer
but he was actually killed by a amalekite (if that's how you spell it)
now who are the amalekites.
they're the group of people God first instructed him to eradicate
but he spared the king, women and children.
and so, they came back to haunt him, his last hour.

if you dont fully extinguish the flame
one day
when you're weakest
it will come back
and you will not be able to deal with it.
i do recall a similar principle in a passage in Matthew about a spirit cast out returning with 7 others worst than itself.
hence, get rid of it now. when you can. and be sure to remove it completely.
