Dancing Driads in the Moonlight.

it irks me so.
to see yet not see
to know yet not know
to be there yet not really there.

i'd like to placate my inner desires
and hide from the belief i can live on them candles and moons
but the sun rises in due time
and none runs from it.

and somehow
instead of shunning it all away
or at the very least stay apart
i play along.
i play along
knowing full well
it's all a play
a play
a play.

i have become subsumed under a greater system
and i cannot fight it
i cannot fight it alone.

choice is reserved fro those with power
matrix style
or with the gun behind you're head.
