i cant help but to think that just a few years ago
all this
every good thing that has happened to me
wouldnt even have been thought possible.

you changed my life
made me a new person
i cant say a better person
but a different person nonetheless

you took me while i was still young
gave me the chance
and equiped me with the skills
empowered me to win battles
and most of all
you gave me yourself
as a friend
and tho it wasnt easy
we survived

i did my best
and still
i feel indebted to you
and thats why i'm coming back

it's not as good as it could be
but at least
a sense of closure
wrapping up
a seal to all this
the forgettable journey
that we all will hold dear
